Code P2125 Symptoms, Causes and Solutions.

P2125 code indicates a problem with the throttle or pedal position sensor or switch circuit in the vehicle’s engine control module.


P2125 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch “E” Circuit

Code symptoms P2125.

1. Sudden loss of power while driving.

2. Trouble accelerating.

3. Engine stalling.

4. Check engine light.


This code is common in brands such as:: Chevrolet, Renault, Ford, Toyota, Nissan, Mercedes Benz, Honda.

Causes of the code P2125.

1. Faulty throttle pedal position sensor.
2. Open or short circuit in the wiring harness of the throttle pedal position sensor.
3. Corrosion or poor connection at the sensor or connector.
4. Faulty Electronic Control Module (ECM).
5. Potential electronic interference from other sensors or components in the vehicle.


Code Solutions P2125.

1. Inspect the wiring and connectors associated with the throttle or pedal position sensor or switch “E” circuit for any signs of damage, corrosion, or loose connections. Repair or replace any damaged components as needed.
