P2086 code indicates a problem with the range or performance of the exhaust gas temperature sensor in Bank 2 Sensor 2.

Code symptoms P2086.

1. Check engine light is illuminated on the dashboard.

This code is common in brands such as:: Chevrolet, Renault, Ford, Toyota, Nissan, Mercedes Benz, Honda.

Causes of the code P2086.

1. Faulty exhaust gas temperature sensor Bank 2 Sensor 2
2. Wiring issues such as short circuits or open circuits in the sensor circuit
3. Corrosion or damage to the connectors related to the sensor
4. Engine or exhaust system leaks affecting sensor performance
5. Exhaust system malfunctions causing improper readings for the sensor


Code Solutions P2086.
