Code P2063 Symptoms, Causes and Solutions.

The P2063 is a diagnostic trouble code indicating a low voltage condition in the reductant or regeneration supply control circuit.

P2063 Reductant/Regeneration Supply Control Circuit Low

Code symptoms P2063.

1. Check Engine Light: The most common symptom is the illumination of the check engine light on the vehicle’s dashboard, indicating a problem with the reductantorregeneration supply control circuit.

2. Decreased Engine Performance: A decrease in engine performance may be noticed, such as reduced power, poor acceleration, or rough idling. This can be caused by the improper functioning of the control circuit.

3. Increased Emissions: Failure of the reductantorregeneration supply control circuit can lead to increased emissions from the vehicle, which can contribute to environmental pollution.

4. Difficulty Starting the Vehicle: In some cases, a problematic control circuit may cause difficulty starting the vehicle, as it may affect the overall functioning of the engine and related systems.

This code is common in brands such as:: Chevrolet, Renault, Ford, Toyota, Nissan, Mercedes Benz, Honda.

Causes of the code P2063.

1. Faulty reductant supply control module
2. Corroded or damaged wiring connections
3. Defective reductant tank heater
4. Low quality or contaminated DEF (diesel exhaust fluid)
5. Malfunctioning reductant pump or injector

Code Solutions P2063.

1. Check the reductant pump fuse to ensure it is not blown or faulty, as this can cause a low circuit issue.
2. Inspect the wiring and connectors associated with the reductant supply control circuit for any damage or loose connections, and repair as necessary.
3. Test the reductant pump to ensure it is functioning properly, as a malfunctioning pump can result in a low circuit fault.
4. Verify the operation of the reductant injector to confirm it is delivering the correct amount of reductant as needed.
5. If all components check out okay, consider resetting the fault codes and monitoring the vehicle for any recurring issues, as occasional glitches may trigger a false low circuit fault.
