Code P0835 Symptoms, Causes and Solutions.

The P0835 trouble code indicates a high voltage condition in the clutch pedal switch “B” circuit. Here’s what you should know:

Code symptoms P0835.

1. Difficulty starting the vehicle.
2. Inability to start the engine.
3. Cruise control may not engage.
4. Check Engine Light (CEL) or malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) may illuminate on the dashboard.


Causes of the code P0835.

1. Faulty clutch pedal switch “B”.
2. Short circuit in the clutch pedal switch “B” circuit.
3. Corroded or damaged wiring or connectors in the clutch pedal switch “B” circuit.
4. Clutch pedal misalignment or malfunction.
5. Issues with the clutch pedal switch “B” mounting.
