Code P0596 Symptoms, Causes and Solutions.

The P0596 trouble code indicates that there is a high voltage condition detected in the cruise control servo control circuit. The cruise control servo is responsible for regulating the throttle position to maintain a set speed when cruise control is activated. A high voltage condition in this circuit can prevent the cruise control system from functioning properly.
