Code P2062 Symptoms, Causes and Solutions.

The P2062 trouble code indicates that there is an open circuit detected in the reductant or regeneration supply control circuit.


P2062 Reductant/Regeneration Supply Control Circuit/Open

Code symptoms P2062.

1. Malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) or Check Engine Light (CEL) illuminated.
2. Decreased fuel efficiency.
3. Reduction in engine performance.
4. Changes in exhaust emissions.


This code is common in brands such as:: Chevrolet, Renault, Ford, Toyota, Nissan, Mercedes Benz, Honda.

Causes of the code P2062.

1. Faulty reductant or regeneration supply control valve.
2. Open circuit in the reductant or regeneration supply control circuit.
3. Corrosion or damage to the connectors in the reductant or regeneration supply control circuit.
4. Faulty powertrain control module (PCM).


Code Solutions P2062.

1. Inspect the reductant or regeneration supply control valve and replace if faulty.
2. Check for an open circuit in the reductant or regeneration supply control circuit using a multimeter. Repair any open circuits found.
3. Inspect the connectors in the reductant or regeneration supply control circuit for corrosion or damage. Clean or replace connectors as necessary.
4. Perform a PCM reset or reflash to clear the code. If the issue persists, consider replacing the PCM.
