Code P2052 Symptoms, Causes and Solutions.

The P2052 trouble code indicates that the reductant injection valve circuit for bank 2, unit 1 is experiencing a high voltage condition.

Code symptoms P2052.

1. Malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) or Check Engine Light (CEL) illuminated.
2. Changes in exhaust emissions.
3. Reduction in fuel efficiency.
4. Decrease in engine performance.


This code is common in brands such as:: Chevrolet, Renault, Ford, Toyota, Nissan, Mercedes Benz, Honda.

Causes of the code P2052.

1. Faulty reductant injection valve.
2. High voltage supply to the reductant injection valve circuit.
3. Corrosion or damage to the connectors in the reductant injection valve circuit.
4. Faulty powertrain control module (PCM).


Code Solutions P2052.

1. Inspect the reductant injection valve and replace if faulty.
2. Check the voltage supply to the reductant injection valve circuit. Repair any issues with high voltage supply.
3. Inspect the connectors in the reductant injection valve circuit for corrosion or damage. Clean or replace connectors as necessary.
4. Perform a PCM reset or reflash to clear the code. If the issue persists, consider replacing the PCM.
