Code P0725 Symptoms, Causes and Solutions.

The P0725 code indicates a malfunction in the engine speed input circuit. This circuit is responsible for providing the engine control module (ECM) or powertrain control module (PCM) with data regarding the engine’s rotational speed. The ECM or PCM uses this information to calculate various engine functions, such as fuel injection timing and ignition timing.

Code Solutions P0725.

2. Use a multimeter to test the engine speed sensor for proper operation. Replace the sensor if it fails the test.
